Our Logo was conceived based on the Portuguese traditional Heart of Viana, typical from the north of Portugal (kindly adapted to our requirements, by aHead Dynamic Solutions Creative Team, to whom we thank).
WHAT WE HAD & WHAT WE’VE GOT!
In Viana do Castelo, in the region of Minho, it’s still usual to find these Filigree pieces in weddings, with the brides embellishing their wedding gowns and we also find it in Folklore Exhibitions or even in the Sunday family walks.
THE CHARM OF MINHO FILIGRAN (AND WOMEN)
The delicate use of very thin wires in gold and silver bring together complex pieces that symbolize the sea, nature, religion or love.
Filigree (or Filigran) is a typical Portuguese jewellery technique. It was incorporated into the rich heritage of Portuguese jewellery for representing very reasons related to national history and culture, in particular the Crosses and the Hearts of Viana.
These Portuguese pieces are known for their quality, guaranteed by the materials and techniques used.
Filigran is a thorough and ornamental work, made of small balls and very thin wires of gold and silver, welded and flattened causing the effect of braid and lace.
